David A. Roberts, PA-C, is a physician assistant at Dyersburg, Tennessee of Heart & Vascular Center of West Tennessee.
David completed his Master of Science in physician assistant studies at Bethel College (now Bethel University) in McKenzie, Tennessee, in 2007. He’s certified in added qualifications in emergency medicine, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced cardiac life support, and basic life support.
In addition to Heart & Vascular Center of West Tennessee, David has worked as a PA with many clinics in Jackson, Tennessee, including Tennova Regional, Back Pain Relief Clinic, and Sports Orthopedics and Spine.
He previously worked at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital as a registered nurse after earning his Bachelor of Science in nursing from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, in 1998.
From 2017 to 2019, David was director at-large with the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants. Today, he serves as vice president. He has spoken on such topics as heart failure and hypertension at academy meetings.
In addition to his physician assistant duties, David teaches pediatric advanced cardiac life support and also works as a full-time assistant faculty member at Bethel University in Paris, Tennessee. He’s written for and contributed to several industry publications.
